SC Supports Kerala’s Request For SIR Extension
The SC deemed the Kerala govt and political parties’ plea to extend the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls beyond Dec 13 “just and fair.” The bench, led by Chief Justice Surya Kant, directed Kerala to submit its representation to the Election Commission by Dec 3. The ECI should consider it objectively within two days.
