Trump’s New Visa Fee Sparks Multi-State Lawsuit
California and 19 other US states filed a federal lawsuit in Boston to block President Trump’s $100,000 fee on new H-1B visas for skilled foreign workers. The fee, announced in September, sharply increases visa costs from the usual $2,000–$5,000. This marks at least the third legal challenge against the measure.
