Boeing Ordered To Pay $35.8M To Shikha Garg's Family

In 2019, a Boeing 737 MAX operated by Ethiopian Airlines crashed, killing 157 people, including Indian UN consultant Shikha Garg. A US jury in Chicago has now ordered Boeing to pay $35.85 million (over ₹290 crore) to her family, acknowledging her death and awarding $10 million specifically for her pain, suffering and emotional distress.
