SC Urges Centre To Review Disabled Cadets’ Return Policy
The Supreme Court sought the Centre and defence forces response on cadets medically discharged due to training disabilities. It asked the Centre to explore insurance cover, enhance the ₹40,000 ex-gratia, and consider rehabilitation into defence roles post-treatment. The bench emphasized supporting brave cadets and scheduled further hearing on September 4.
