Untreated Sewage Endangers Marine Ecosystem At Vizag Coast
The coastal ecosystem in Vizag is under serious threat as 23 of 41 drainage outlets are releasing untreated sewage into the sea. This pollution is impacting 12,000 fishermen and harming marine biodiversity. Though projects worth ₹550 crore are underway, experts caution that unless drain cleanup is expedited, the coastline could face severe damage soon.
