Kenya Disaster: 21 Fatalities, Hunt Continues For Missing 30

A landslide triggered by heavy rains in western Kenya's Marakwet East killed at least 21 people, with over 30 still missing, Interior Minister Kipchumba Murkomen said. Search and rescue operations were halted overnight. The Kenyan Red Cross reported major mudslides, flash floods, and difficult access, coordinating rescue and air evacuations for the injured.
