Delhi Bans Charcoal, Coal Tandoors To Curb Pollution
Delhi authorities have implemented significant measures to reduce air pollution. The Pollution Control Committee has fully banned the use of charcoal and coal-fired tandoors in hotels, dhabas, and street food centers, warning of heavy fines for violations. Areas like Lajpat Nagar have already begun adopting gas and electric tandoors as alternatives.
