Bengal Files Director Faces Complaint Over Gopal Patha's Portrayal
Gopal Patha’s grandson filed a police complaint against The Bengal Files director Vivek Agnihotri, claiming the film wrongly shows his grandfather as violent. He said Patha actually saved lives during the 1946 riots. Agnihotri denied misrepresenting him, while actor Saurav Das, who played Patha, claimed he didn’t know the full script.
