3.4-Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Gujarat
A 3.4 magnitude tremor struck north Gujarat near Vav in Banaskantha at 3:35 am Saturday, according to the Institute of Seismological Research. No casualties or damage were reported. Gujarat, a high earthquake-risk zone, has experienced nine major earthquakes in 200 years, including the devastating 2001 Kutch quake, which killed 13,800 people.
