Andhra Green Lights ₹4,000-Crore ReNew Solar Plant Project
The Andhra Pradesh government, led by CM N. Chandrababu Naidu, approved ReNew Photovoltaics' ₹4,000-crore solar ingot and wafer facility at Rambilli, Anakapalli. The 6 GW greenfield plant, with an investment of ₹3,990 crore and backed by the PLI scheme, aims to reduce import dependence, support India's 300 GW solar target by 2030, and will span 140 acres.
