Kerala HC Bans Plastic Shampoo Sachets & Soaps At Sabarimala
The Kerala High Court has imposed a complete ban on the sale and use of plastic shampoo sachets and soaps at the Sabarimala shrine, citing concerns over plastic waste accumulation in the Pamba River. The ban will take effect from the Mandala-Makaravilakku season, starting November 16. Also, the court has banned the sale of chemical saffron at the shrine.
