Telangana Approves Ex Gratia For Deceased Gulf Workers’ Families
The Telangana government has approved Rs 1.55 crore as ex gratia for families of deceased Gulf workers, including 31 from Jagtial. Under the scheme, families receive Rs 5 lakh each. Since 2024, 169 families have benefited, with 100 applications pending. The program covers deaths in select Gulf countries after December 7, 2023.
