Police Book 7 Bengaluru Trans Women For Assault, Humiliation
Seven transgender women in Bengaluru were booked for allegedly assaulting and shaving the head of a 24-year-old community member. The victim said she was confined, beaten with sticks and belts, and denied food overnight. Police registered a case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Transgender Persons Act after a video of the assault surfaced online.
