Strait of Hormuz Tensions Escalate Amid Ship Attacks
Iran has been accused by Human Rights Watch of deliberately targeting commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, calling the actions a breach of war laws. Between the 1st and 17th, 16 incidents damaged 17 ships and caused eight deaths. The attacks were described as retaliation for strikes linked to the USA and Israel, with accountability urged.
