According to the IQAir report, Pakistan ranked as the most polluted country globally in 2025, followed by Bangladesh and Tajikistan, with India in the eighth position. The report warned that air quality is deteriorating severely across South and Central Asia, with rising pollution levels having a significant impact on public health.
