Bangladesh Formally Asks India To Extradite Ousted PM Sheikh Hasina
Bangladesh’s interim government has formally requested India to extradite ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina after a special tribunal sentenced her to death for “crimes against humanity.” The note verbal was sent via the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi. Hasina was removed after the 2023 student-led uprising that toppled her government.
