Legal Action: Parents Liable For Minors Using Vehicles
If unlicensed minors operate vehicles, their parents can face up to 3 years of imprisonment and a fine of ₹25,000. Additionally, the vehicle's registration certificate (RC) will be canceled for one year, and the minor will be barred from obtaining a driving license for up to 25 years. In the event of an accident, insurance coverage will also be rendered invalid.
