Ex-Kerala DGP May Get Thiruvananthapuram Mayor Post
It is known that the BJP has won the post of Mayor of Kerala's Thiruvananthapuram. However, it is reported that the BJP will field Kerala's first woman IPS officer, Srilekha, as the mayor. She retired as DGP in 2020 and won the Sastamangalam Divisional Corporation with a huge majority. If Srilekha is made mayor, she will make history as the first BJP mayor.
