Indian Army Receives Russian Missiles Amid Pak Tensions
Amid heightened tensions with Pakistan, the Indian Army has received new Igla-S missiles to enhance its air defense capabilities. The missiles, part of a Rs 260 crore contract, are deployed in forward areas to counter threats from enemy aircraft, helicopters, and drones. The Army is also procuring more launchers and advanced systems to boost readiness against UAV threats.
