Rajasthan Accident Leaves 15 Dead, PM Expresses Grief
At least 15 pilgrims were killed and several injured when a tempo traveller returning to Jodhpur rammed a stationary trailer near Matoda in Rajasthan's Phalodi district. The vehicle's front was severely crushed, trapping passengers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief and announced ₹2 lakh for each victim's family and ₹50,000 for the injured.
