Opposition Moves No-Confidence Motion Against Speaker
Opposition MPs, led by the Indian National Congress, have moved a no-confidence motion against Om Birla, the Speaker of the Lok Sabha. Around 118 MPs signed the resolution, alleging biased conduct after Rahul Gandhi was reportedly not allowed to speak in the House. The motion will be debated if the House grants permission.
