Black Sea Oil Tankers Hit By Blasts, Fire Erupts: Turkey
Turkish authorities evacuated crews from two Gambian-flagged oil tankers, Kairos and Virat, after explosions and fires in the Black Sea, possibly caused by mines, rockets, drones, or underwater devices. All 45 crew members are safe. The tankers, under Western sanctions for transporting Russian oil, caused no immediate pollution, authorities said.
