Iran Claims Legal Right To Block ‘Enemy’ Ships In Hormuz

Iran’s FM Abbas Araghchi told the UN that blocking “enemy” ships in the Strait of Hormuz is Iran’s legal right. Friendly countries like India, China, and Russia are allowed passage, but US- and Israel-linked vessels are barred. Iran is also considering charging tolls for ships and warns that US forces endanger Gulf civilians.
