AP's Vizag Port Sets All-Time Cargo Record
The Visakhapatnam Port Authority has set a key benchmark in cargo operations by moving 85.07 million metric tonnes (MMT) of cargo within just 345 days of the current financial year. Port officials confirmed that this marks the highest cargo throughput recorded in the port's 92-year history. The total cargo volume is also expected to rise even further.
