Supreme Court Urgently Lists SIR Legality Case
The Supreme Court has listed arguments on November 11 to examine the legality of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) before the Bihar Assembly elections. The SIR was expanded to cover 51 crore voters across 12 States and UTs, including Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Kerala, and Puducherry. Advocates Prashant Bhushan and Neha Rathi challenged the exercise in court.
