Stock Market Close: Sensex Gains 388 Pts, Nifty At 26013
Indian markets closed higher on Monday as Sensex gained 388 points to 84,950.95 and Nifty rose 103 points to 26,013.45, supported by optimism after the NDA’s Bihar election victory. Midcap and small-cap indices also advanced. Bank Nifty hit a record high, while sectors like PSU banks, autos and IT gained. Tata Motors and Asian Paints lagged.
