Pahalgam SHO Transferred After Deadly Terror Attack Kills 26
Following the Pahalgam terror attack that left 26 dead, including security personnel, SHO Reyaz Ahmed was transferred to Anantnag. Inspector Peer Gulzar Ahmed replaces him. Several other SHOs were also reshuffled. Despite prior intelligence warnings and a major manhunt, the terrorists—both local and Pakistani—remain at large nearly two weeks after the attack.
