India Halts Chenab Waters, Sends Signal To Pakistan
India briefly halted Chenab river flow via Baglihar dam after the Pahalgam terror attack, sending a warning to Pakistan. Though temporary and within Indus Waters Treaty limits, India may act similarly on Kishanganga. Pakistan, which opposes both projects, warned any water stoppage would be war. Ties have soured after the deadly attack.
