$17 Million Drug Case: Canadian Pleads Guilty
A Canadian national, Guramrit Sidhu, pleaded guilty in a $17 million drug trafficking case, the FBI said. He led a network smuggling over 850 kg of cocaine and methamphetamine from the US to Canada between 2020 and 2023. Extradited in 2024, Sidhu faces a minimum 20-year sentence. Multiple agencies investigated the case, with sentencing scheduled for July 9.
