India’s Population Expected To Stabilise By 2080
Experts said that India’s population will steady at about 1.8–1.9 billion by 2080 because the fertility rate has dropped to 1.9, below replacement level. Better education, especially for women, along with contraception and late marriages, has led to smaller families. Rising life expectancy and aging will create new challenges for the future.
