Airtel And Tata Group Call Off DTH Merger Plans
Bharti Airtel and Tata Group have ended their merger discussions for the DTH businesses, Bharti Telemedia and Tata Play. After failing to reach a satisfactory agreement, both companies mutually decided to terminate the talks. The merger aimed to consolidate their satellite TV services but could not be finalized, as per a Bombay Stock Exchange filing.
