Railways Ticketing Revolution: 25,000 Bookings/Min Now Possible
Indian Railways has upgraded its Passenger Reservation System, now capable of booking 25,000 tickets per minute. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw revealed the ₹182 crore overhaul includes new hardware, software, and security systems. The new RailOne app also allows mobile booking of reserved and unreserved tickets, enhancing passenger convenience and digital access nationwide.
