The Wire Journalists Summoned Again In Fresh Sedition Case
Days after the Supreme Court gave protection to The Wire’s Siddharth Varadarajan, he and journalist Karan Thapar were summoned in a new sedition case by Assam Police. The FIR details remain unclear. Both journalists said they will cooperate but insisted on receiving the FIR copy first, as required by constitutional safeguards.
