Ex-CM Jagan Cites CAG Data On AP Current Finances
Former AP CM Jagan cited the Comptroller and Auditor General of India report while discussing state's finances. He said total expenditure in 2023-24 reached ₹2,36,486 cr against revenue of ₹1,70,767 cr, creating a ₹32,680 cr revenue deficit and ₹62,719 cr fiscal deficit. He also noted spending rose to ₹2,49,096 cr in the first year after CM CBN assumed power.
