SC To Hear Long-Pending Sabarimala Review Today
The Supreme Court will start hearings today on the long-pending Sabarimala review. A nine-judge bench led by CJI Surya Kant will examine petitions against the 2018 judgment allowing women of all ages into the temple. Broader religious freedom issues, including mosque and fire temple access, will also be discussed from April 7–22.
