Telangana Panchayat Polls See Thousands Of Nominations
In Telangana’s first phase of Gram Panchayat elections on December 11, 25,654 nominations were filed for Sarpanch posts and 82,276 for Ward Members. Suryapet and Rangareddy districts recorded the highest numbers. The last date for withdrawal is December 3. Officials will monitor unanimous elections to prevent forced results.
