ISRO Plans Greater Industry Role In PSLV Development
ISRO Chairman V. Narayanan announced plans to transfer 50% of the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) development to an industry consortium. He praised India’s aerospace, defence, and engineering sectors for their growing capabilities. Narayanan highlighted that these industries already contribute nearly 80-85% of the systems for ISRO’s missions.
