Kolkata Woman Scammed Of 78 Lakh In Phone Call Fraud
Three men were arrested in Gujarat for defrauding Kolkata's Deepanwita Dhar of ₹78.3 lakh. Posing as Mumbai Police, they falsely claimed her parcel contained drugs and warned her Aadhaar and bank accounts were at risk. She transferred the money as instructed. Police traced the funds, caught the suspects, and are probing the wider network.
