GHMC Prepares Floodwater Management Plan For HYD
Following the example of HMDA's plan, GHMC is preparing a comprehensive floodwater management strategy for Hyderabad. Engineers are assessing the city’s drainage system to provide a permanent solution to flooding. Since September, 542 km of canals have been mapped, though officials estimate half of the city’s canals are yet to be documented.
