Legal Process Begins To Confirm Amaravati As AP Capital
The process to legally designate Amaravati as the capital of Andhra Pradesh has officially begun. The Union Law Ministry has approved the proposed amendment to the State Bifurcation Act, 2014. Once the Cabinet endorses it, the bill will be sent to Parliament. Following parliamentary approval, the Centre will issue a gazette notification.
