Maharashtra Doctor’s Suicide Case: Accused Cop Dismissed
Sub-inspector Gopal Badane, arrested in connection with the suicide of a 28-year-old doctor in Satara, has been dismissed from service. The doctor, found dead in a Phaltan hotel on October 23, accused Badane of repeatedly raping her and named another man for harassment. Officials called the officer’s conduct disgraceful and a misuse of power.
