SC Tells EC To Accept Aadhaar, 11 Documents
The Supreme Court directed the Election Commission to accept Aadhaar or 11 other documents for voter inclusion in Bihar’s SIR drive. It also allowed online claim submissions and urged political parties to assist 65 lakh excluded voters. The EC sought 15 days to prove no wrongful exclusions, as elections approach in the poll-bound state.
