OPENING BELL: Sensex Up 718 Points, Nifty At 306 Points

The Sensex and Nifty opened at fresh record levels in early trade on Monday, August 18, 2025. The Sensex started trading today at 81315.79, up at 718.13 points or 0.89%, and the Nifty was at 24938.20, up at 306.90 points or 1.25%. Meanwhile, the Indian rupee was trading today at 87.39 against the dollar.
