Railways Announces 12,000 Festive Trains, 20% Discount
Indian Railways will run over 12,000 special trains to ease holiday travel during Deepavali and Chhath,. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw confirmed the move after consultations with key Bihar leaders. Passengers traveling between Oct 13–26 and returning Nov 17–Dec 1 will receive a 20% discount on return tickets, ensuring smoother festive journeys.
