Iran Says It Hit US Tanker In Northern Gulf, Ship On Fire
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) says it struck a United States‑linked oil tanker in the northern part of the Persian Gulf, setting the vessel ablaze, according to Iranian state media. The IRGC warns that during wartime it will control passage through the Strait of Hormuz and has threatened to target military or commercial ships from the US and allies.
