Wickremesinghe Moved To Prison Hospital After Arrest
Former Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe was shifted to the prison hospital late at night after being remanded for alleged misuse of LKR 16.6 million in state funds. Denied bail, he was taken into custody by CID and later admitted due to high blood pressure and sugar levels. Court has remanded him till August 26.
