Schools To Remain Closed In These Cities Today
IMD's red alert for August 18-19 has led to school closures in Karnataka's Chikkamagaluru and Shivamogga districts, covering taluks like Koppa, Mudigere, and Sringeri. Thrissur, Kerala, has declared a holiday for all institutions, including professional colleges today. Chandigarh schools and colleges will also remain shut today due to rains.
