Opposition To Move Impeachment Motion Against CEC Tomorrow
The opposition INDIA bloc plans to move an impeachment motion against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar on Thursday. TMC, Congress, and other parties support it. MPs must gather at least 100 Lok Sabha and 50 Rajya Sabha signatures. Removing a CEC requires proven misbehavior or incapacity and a two-thirds majority, similar to Supreme Court judges.
