Owaisi Questions Legitimacy Of BJP MP Chairing No-Confidence Debate
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi questioned the legality of BJP MP Jagdambika Pal chairing the Lok Sabha proceedings during a no-confidence motion. Citing Articles 95 and 96 of the Constitution, Owaisi argued that a nominee of the Speaker cannot preside over such debates.
