Mahavatar Narsimha Joins Oscars 2026 Animated Race
Mahavatar Narsimha, directed by Ashwin Kumar, has qualified for the 2026 Oscars in the Best Animated Feature category, becoming the first Indian animated film to achieve this milestone. Competing among 35 global titles, the blockbuster earned over ₹300 crore worldwide. The mythological film also marks the beginning of Hombale Films’ Mahavatar Cinematic Universe.
